“Le Magicien” (The Magician)

Reproduction of a Jesse Tree figure from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. The use of a damask background, typical of 15th-century stained glass, emphasises the figure and captures the light. Damask plays with light on the principle of a "negative" image.
